3.6 magnitude earthquake rattles Bandung District




News Update, Jakarta - An earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale (SR) rocked the district of Bandung, West Java. There is no information of casualties due to this earthquake.

According to the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) as informed by his official Twitter account, @infoBMKG, the earthquake occurred on Friday (04/08/2016) at 22:14 pm.

The quake's epicenter was on land, at a depth of 10 Kilometers.

Point epicenter was located at 20 Kilometers away from Bandung regency. "The epicenter was on land 20 km Southwestern Kab. Bandung," writes BMKG via Twitter account.

Until this news was revealed, there is no information regarding casualties or damage to buildings caused by this earthquake.(n/u)
