Gempur ISIS, B-52 Bomber Aircraft U.S Arriving in Qatar





News Update,DOHA - For the first time since the 1991 Gulf War, the United States (US) deploy bombers (bomber) B-52 to Qatar to bombard the group Islamic State or ISIS.

Bomber B-52 Stratofortress has arrived at Al Udeid Air Base Military, Sunday (04/10/2016). So the announcement commander of US Air Forces Central Command, Lieutenant General Charles T. Brown Jr., in a statement.

"B-52 would give the coalition precision and provide the desired effect of air power," he said.

He refused to reveal how many B-52 bombers were deployed in Qatar.
The US last use bombers B-52 Stratofortress in the Gulf War against Saddam Hussein's regime in Iraq 26 years ago. US military operation was then named "Operation Desert Storm" with the B-52 was launched from Saudi Arabia.

Deployment of B-52 bombers to replace the contingent actually bomber B-1 Lancer operating in the Middle East since January. B-1 will undergo maintenance and a series of upgrades.

"B-52 shows our determination to continue to apply pressure constantly to Daesh (ISIS) and the defense of the territory in any future contingency," said Brown, as quoted by Russia Today.
