Semi-War Situation states, Kim Jong-un Regime Blames U.S.
GENEVA -
The government of the North Korean regime (North Korea) said the situation on
the Korean Peninsula has been "semi-war". The government led by Kim
Jong-un was blaming the United States (US) as the trigger of this critical
situation.
North
Korea through its ambassador to the UN in Geneva, So Se Pyong, say, because of
the situation of the Korean Peninsula has been "semi-war" reckless
Pyongyang would pursue its nuclear program and ballistic missiles from the
United States and its allies.
"If
the United States continues, then we have to make counter-measures as well. So
we have to develop, and we have to make more deterrence, nuclear deterrence,
"So said in an interview with Reuters on Friday.
North
Korea's top diplomat insinuated the implementation of the Nuclear Security
Summit in Washington to discuss ways to press Pyongyang regime harder.
US
President; Barack Obama, President of South Korea (ROK); Park Geun-hye and the
Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe, vowed increase pressure on the regime of
Kim Jong-un if North Korea did not stop the provocation.
"Actually,
that summit, we call it a kind of propaganda," said So.
.Do not Care China
North Korea is also no longer
concerned about China and other powerful nations are pressing Pyongyang.
Earlier, the President of China, Xi Jinping, called for dialogue to resolve the
imbroglio on the Korean Peninsula.
Asked whether the North feel the
pressure from China and other powerful nations, So said, "Are they going
to do anything, we do not care. We will be on our own path. "
"(We) do not have a dialogue and
discussion about it," said So.
North Korea is also against a
resolution of the UN Security Council in early March 2016 that it expands
sanctions against North Korea, which could trigger a famine in the country. The
sanctions imposed after the North tested a nuclear weapon and ballistic missiles.
"We will oppose the resolution
as well as unfair. At this point, because this is really a semi-war right now.
We are busy to deal with this, the status of semi-war on the Korean Peninsula,
"he added.
So also condemned the joint military
exercises conducted by the US and South Korean forces were involved about 300
thousand soldiers. "Now they opened (the show) their true colors, which
means decapitation supreme leader of the DPRK," he said.
Asked about the prospects to resume
six-party talks on North Korea's nuclear program that have been stalled, So
asserts that the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula is no longer on the
table alias no more discussion.
"If the United States to stop
their hostile policy against the DPRK and to come to a peace agreement, then
something (possibly) different," he said.
Earlier, President Obama and the
Chinese president, Xi Jinping, agreed to work together to address the threat of
North Korea's nuclear weapons.
"It's important for both of us
is North Korea's pursuit of nuclear weapons, which threaten the security and
stability of the region. President Xi and I are both committed to the
denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, "Obama said in his meeting with
Xi in Washington.
"China and the US have a responsibility
to work together, 'said Xi told reporters through an interpreter.
