Directorate General of Customs (DG BC) have seized 57.2 kilograms of various
types of narcotics, during the execution of Operation Shining since 15 until
March 31, 2016.
Director General of
Customs, said Heru Pamungkas, Joko Widodo President has instructed the ranks in
order to combat against narcotics in Indonesia.
"This operation is
in accordance with the instructions of President Joko Widodo, who declared war
on drug crimes," he added in a statement on Tuesday (05/04/2016).
Jokowi President ordered
the police and relevant government agencies held in the framework of Operation
Shining Prevention Combating Drug Abuse and Illicit Drugs (P4GN).
He said, it involves the

smuggling.
"The suspects
smuggle drugs various modes, such as hiding in the body and sent through parcel
services," he continued.
He also revealed some
disclosures of drug distribution in eight offices Unit BC prosecution of drug
distribution that KPU Type C Soekarno-Hatta six cases, the Commission Type B
Batan five cases, KPPBC TMP Jakarta as much as two cases, and KPPBC Tanjung Balai

various countries

The suspects are from
China amounted to two people, two people of Iran, Malaysia two people, the
French one, and Indonesia 11.
He also added that during
the period of three months, it uncover 90 cases of drug smuggling by the number
of items of evidence as much as 244.6 kilograms, valued at Rp488 billion.
