arraignment Iran on suspicion of hacking

States charged seven Iranians on suspicion of hacking almost 50 financial
companies and a dam in New York.
A series of attacks
carried out from 2011 through 2013 were allegedly coordinated by a number of
Iranian companies.
The US justice ministry
revealed the indictments against seven people, believed to be working for the
Iranian government.
The indictment claimed
them as 'experienced computer hackers' and officials said the attacks were
"wake up" the various parties.
For the first time the
United States indicted a number of people associated with a particular state
governments in the US infrastructure hacks in the major industrial sectors,
such as finance and water.
"The attack
threatens our economic prosperity and our ability to compete well in the world
market, these two things are directly related to national security," said
US Attorney Loretta Lynch.
He added that the attacks
cause losses of tens of millions of dollars.
Ahmad Fathi, Hamid
Firoozi, Amin Shokohi, Sadegh Ahmadzadegan, Omid Ghaffarinia, Sina Keissar, and
Nader Seidi identified in the indictment as those suspected of committing cyber
